Car wash

Last night Danny asked if he could wash my car today. It was a warm sunny day, so why not? They had a blast and even got some of the neighborhood kids to help. Needless to say, they went to bed very easily tonight.

Amelia

I just came down from Mia's room- it is 1030 at night. Chris and I have been watching her on the monitor for the past hour. She pulled everything out of her closet and has been putting on a fashion show on her bed. This is how she ended up. I don't know if the picture does justice to the amount of clothes in her bed.She has a strong sense of her own fashion. She picks out her clothes every day now. It usually involves dresses, leggings, hats and tutus.

We have promised her ballerina classes for her 3rd birthday.

She sleeps in her hat most nights. I don't know where she came from- she cracks us up!

Painting

We are starting to get the baby's room ready. We bought furniture for Danny's room that will be delivered mid-June. That gives us about a month to get the nursery and Danny's room painted. The kids wanted to help, so we let them help with the primer.

We are going to paint the nursery a purple color and Danny wants black. I think he will have to settle for more of a blue color.

Opening Day

Springboro had their Opening Day for the Baseball league yesterday. They had a parade of all the players, food, bounce houses and all kinds of activities for the players. Danny had a blast! It was also the first game day for most of the kids. Danny is on the yellow team- number 7.

Danny in his uniform. He looks so proud and excited when he comes off the field after running the bases. The first thing he does is look for us and give us hi-fives.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We had a lazy morning. We all slept in and went to brunch with some friends. Now we are watching baseball and eating candy. The kids loved seeing the Easter Bunny.

Easter 1

We finally got around to dying our Easter Eggs this afternoon. Mia had a Disney Princess kit with lots of stickers.
In this picture, she is giving us her version of a thumbs up.

Danny had a Star Wars kit- surprise, surprise! He was so excited to decorate his eggs. The kit had film strips from the old movies- this one was a clip of jaba the hut.

And the big excitement- the Tie Fighter egg!!!

T-Ball

Danny started T-ball a few weeks ago, with Chris as one of the assistant coaches. He loves T-ball! This league is a bit more structured. They are teaching the kids "proper" throwing and batting skills. This is Danny batting.

On a side note, Danny is still into star-wars. Chris found a storm trooper sweatshirt- Danny thinks it is the coolest thing ever!
