Grave Digger!!!!!

Grave Digger is Danny's favorite monster truck. Chris took him to a monster truck show a few years ago and he has been hooked ever since. Grave Diggers home base is in the outer banks, so we stopped to have our picture taken. We didn't tell Danny prior to arriving, because we were not sure exactly where it was and what the hours were. He was so happy that he sprinted over to the display trucks.

Vacation

We are officially on vacation. We drove to NJ to stay with my sister for a few days and visit my parents. Here are pictures of Mia and Erin. We had matching outfits on them! We spent all of Tuesday in the pool. Mia and Erin even have matching bathinsuits under the vests. Danny is doing so well with his swimming. He is so comfortable in water. Mia loves water, but I think her vest is a bit too big right now.

Guess who was in Philly while we were in NJ- the Red Sox! My sister was very kind to watch the kids while we went 2 days in a row. We have now been to 5 Red Sox games in 6 days. I am officially tired of baseball- at least for the next few weeks.

Fathers Day Weekend

This Fathers Day Weekend the Red Sox happened to be in town. Chris went to the Friday night game with some friends. Saturday and Sunday, we took the kids. On Saturday, a very nice security guard gave Danny a ball that was hit during batting practice. He was thrilled and asked every few minutes if we still had the ball.

On Sunday, we got to the ballpark early enough to see batting practice. We got a table in the park restaurant. This was our view of the field. The kids did well both days. Chris had a great weekend and I am going to have a hrad time topping this next year!

Sprayground

It is starting to get very hot here. Today we met some friends at the sprayground. Danny is the little guy in the tan shorts to the right of the blue pole. He had a blast, Mia wouldn't go near the water. They have flowers that spray water, frogs that "spit" water and watering cans that dump. There are a few others around here with airplane (wright brothers) and construction themes. We'll have to go find them one day.
