We stuck around after the show to see the planes take off. The little airport had a miniature golf course and BBQ restaurant. This was the kids first time playing.
Sharing a cream soda while waiting for the planes to take off.
Danny blowing out candles on his Pirate ship cake. I did not make the cake myself- obviously.
Mia in the duck pond. My ducks didn't float the way that I thought they would and they were much smaller than I expected. But the younger kids liked them.
A good friend sent Mia a huge box of Princess dress up clothes and a hat box full of wigs for her birthday. This is Mia dressed as Cinderella- I think. I have a good picture of Danny dressed as Snow White wig and all, but Chris won't let me post it.This plane is way bigger than the little 2 seaters that are usually here. Chris tells me that this is a B17 bomber. It was loud coming off the runway and drew the attention of all the little boys on the team. Danny thought it was so cool. There was also a P51 Mustang that took off once while we were there, but I didn't have the camera ready. Chris is a big military history buff, so this was pretty exciting.
